Use of Membership Value Credits

Modified on Mon, 12 May at 10:43 AM

Membership value credits are monetary credits given with the purchase of a membership that can be used towards appointments or product purchases, based on the membership configuration.

Things to Know:

  • By default, membership value credits cannot be used to pay for taxes or fees; they can only be used for purchasing products and services. However, they can be used to pay for tips if the "Can membership credits be used for tips?" setting is enabled.
  • When the "Apply Membership Value Credits" setting is set to "Before Tax," the Take Payment page displays all available client credits, even if they exceed the ticket balance. This allows for greater flexibility in selecting which credits to apply and provides better transparency in credit usage.
