Managing and updating pet records in MyTime is simple and efficient, allowing you to keep pet information accurate and up-to-date. This article will guide you through the process of editing client and pet details.
Things to know:
- The ability to edit pet information is governed by the "Accessing Client Records" access control setting.
- You can configure pet profiles to display upcoming vaccine expiration dates and set reminders for expiring vaccinations. Once the vaccination is updated, you can easily enter the new due date directly on the pet’s profile. Learn more here.
- The "Pet Name" field is required by default and cannot be left blank. Other fields can also be set as required, based on your configuration.
- If the "Pet Breed" field is set to "Read Only," staff members will not be able to add new breeds or edit existing ones in-store. To enable this setting, please contact our support team at support@mytime.com.
- When a pet's name is changed, historical records and reports will automatically update to reflect the new name.
