Appointment Cancellation Reasons

MyTime allows you to enforce cancellation reasons for appointments whether or not you have a cancellation policy enforced. This feature only applies to appointments canceled in-store.   


Enabling the Cancellation Reasons functionality can be done by: 


  1. Go to Business Setup > Settings page
  2. Under the Cancellation Policy heading, toggle the ”Activate Cancellation Reasons" to YES Business-Settings__8_.png
  3. Once enabled, you will be able to add your cancellation reasons by using the +Add link                                                                    Business-Settings__9_.png
  4. You can add as many reasons as you would like by using the +Add link or delete reasons as you see fit by clicking the red "x"                                                                 Business-Settings__10_.png
  5. After you've added your reasons, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save
 

Once you have saved your cancellation reasons, your staff members will be prompted to select a reason when canceling appointments on your schedule or removing clients from the waitlist. The first reason entered in settings will be the one shown as default, however, you will be able to choose an option from the list.

The cancellation reason will be shown in the Cancellation report.
