Staff Scheduling Report

This report shows the scheduled hours (expected start and end time) for each staff member on a day-to-day basis. If a staff member is not scheduled to work on a specific day, no data will be displayed in that column.


Things to know:

  • The ability to access this report is governed by the "Accessing Reports" access control settings 
  • This report tracks both the standard hours configured on a staff profile and any custom hours. Note that custom hours always take precedence over standard profile hours.
  • If a staff member's hours differ on the same weekday within your selected date range (e.g., working 9:00 AM on one Monday but 11:00 AM on the next), the report will display "Varies" for that specific day.
  • If you modify or delete hours directly from a staff member's profile, those changes will immediately apply to and remove those hours from all future dates.
  • When you remove a location from a staff member's profile:
    • They will no longer appear under that location filter for any future date ranges.
    • Their historical scheduled hours for that location are completely preserved for accurate past reporting.
    • Existing bookings are unaffected—any upcoming appointments scheduled at that location will remain active.
  • The report can only be exported in Summary View, which consolidates data by category such as location, staff member, or service type. This view is ideal for high-level analysis, allowing you to review total revenue and overall performance metrics without displaying individual transactions.



To access this report:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard
  2. Select the Reports tab
  3. Under the Staff section, select the Staff Scheduling report

When the report opens, you can filter by a specific staff and date. You also have the ability to export to Excel, PDF, or print. Once you have selected your filters, click on the UPDATE button to generate the desired data.

Report Filters


FilterDescription
Location

The location where the staff is assigned.

  • Accounts with One Location: No location filter is shown
  • Accounts with Multiple Locations: The location filter allows you to view data for a specific location or all locations within that account
StaffThe name of the staff member that is scheduled
DateThis range will determine the scheduled time period for each staff member



Report Columns


ColumnDescription
Staff MemberThe name of the staff member. 
LocationThe location where the staff is assigned.
Day of the weekDisplays the day of the week and the scheduled hours (expected start and end time) for each employee.
Total HoursTotal scheduled hours the staff member is expected to work in the date range selected.
