Leads Widget Configuration

Modified on Mon, 22 Sep at 3:21 PM

The leads widget is an embeddable form that allows you to capture new leads directly from your website. It includes a customizable lead generation intake form with flexible questions and can be linked to specific locations to support targeted marketing campaigns. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up and configuring the Lead Widget in MyTime.

Things to know:

  • A Lead Management subscription is required to use the lead management feature. Contact your account manager or email support@mytime.com to add this module to your account.
  • The ability to configure the leads widget requires the Accessing Website Tools permission and a hidden setting that must be enabled by the MyTime team. To activate it, contact support@mytime.com.
  • Your MyTime account must be live.
  • The widget can associate leads with a specific location for location-based marketing. Leads not linked to a location will not receive location-specific communications.
  • Submitting the form creates new leads only and does not update existing client profiles.
  • If an existing client attempts to submit the form, the system blocks the submission and displays this error: “A client with this email address/phone number already exists and the lead cannot be created.”
  • After a form is submitted, a thank-you message confirms receipt and a lead profile is automatically created in MyTime with all submitted information stored securely.
  • You can add a tracking code (e.g., UTM tags) to the URL used on your website or in lead notifications. When a potential customer clicks the link and submits the form, MyTime captures the tracking data and displays the lead source on their profile.
  • There are three ways to convert a lead into a client:
  • Click Convert to Client on the lead’s profile.
  • A lead converts to a client automatically when an appointment is booked.
  • A lead converts to a client when a booked appointment is marked as completed (requires a hidden setting enabled by the MyTime team; contact support@mytime.com to activate it).
