Exporting lead data helps businesses efficiently manage and analyze lead information for marketing campaigns, data insights, and record-keeping. This guide walks you through the process of exporting lead data from our platform.
Things to know:
- The ability to export lead data is controlled by the "Allow Access to Clients Configuration & Import/Export Tool" access setting.
- Franchise businesses cannot export the lead list at the parent level
- When exporting leads the system exports all default fields as well as any custom fields
- When exporting leads, the system includes both default fields and any custom fields.
- You can choose between two export options:
- Export Leads – Exports all leads in the system, excluding pet and family member details.
- Export Filtered Leads – Exports only leads that match specific filters or labels, allowing for a more targeted export.
To export your lead list from MyTime, simply:
- Navigate to the Clients tab > My Leads
- From the Manage Leads dropdown menu, select either the "Export Leads" or "Export Filtered Leads" option
- A CSV file containing your lead data will be downloaded to your device
This export will include the following data:
Column | Description |
client_id | This is the external ID of the client. If your clients don't have a client_id, this will be blank |
client_first_name | The first name of the client |
client_last_name | The last name of the client |
mytime_client_id | The MyTime unique ID for the client |
deleted | This column determines if the client should be deleted or not. "FALSE" to not delete the client or "TRUE" to delete the client |
gender | 1 will be present for female and 2 for male |
date_of_birth | Birthdate of the client |
client_since | The date the client first visited |
Email address of the client | |
mobile_phone | Mobile phone number of the client |
home_phone | Home phone number of the client |
work_phone | Work phone number of the client |
street_address | Street Address of the client's home |
street_address_2 | Second street address line of the client's home |
city | City of the client's home address |
state | State of the client's home address. Two-letter state code e.g. CA/NY/NV |
zip | Zip code of the client's home address |
country | Two-letter country code e.g. US |
can_receive_automated_emails | Is the client permitted to receive appointment-related emails? (Enter 1 for yes and 0 for no) |
can_receive_automated_sms | Is the client permitted to receive appointment-related SMS (text messages)? (Enter 1 for yes and 0 for no) |
can_receive_manual_emails | Is the client permitted to receive an email campaigns? (Enter 1 for yes and 0 for no) |
can_receive_manual_sms | Is the client permitted to receive SMS campaigns? (Enter 1 for yes and 0 for no) |
can_receive_manual_sms_confirmed_at | If this field is present, the client is double opted in. Format - Year-Month-Day Hour:Minute: Second Timezone. Example: 2021-09-20 13:05:20 UTC |
contact_preference | The client's preferred contact method - 'Email', 'Text Message', 'Home Phone', 'Work Phone', or 'Mobile Phone'. |
notes | Client notes found on the client's profile |
labels | The labels assigned to the client |
custom_field X | This will display the UUID of the field for any custom fields |
preferred_employee_id | This is the employee_id of the employee |
preferred_location_id | This will display the store ID for the location that is set as preferred on the client's profile |
associated_location_ids | Location IDs of the locations the client should be associated with. This ensures that clients are tied to a location and will receive any marketing messages you wish to send. You can add multiple associated location IDs, just separate them using a semi-colon. You can either use the number in the top-right corner of the modal to complete the Store ID field, or you can enter any unique combination of letters or numbers. |
associated_mytime_location_ids | This is the location ID for MyTime's listed locations. You can complete the Store ID field by using the number found in the top-right corner of the modal or you may enter any unique combination of letters or numbers to identify the location. |
