Referral Links in Automated Messages & Campaigns

Modified on Fri, 1 Aug at 10:05 AM

You can promote your referral program by sending a marketing campaign or adding the referral link to automated messages. The referral link is unique for each client.

Things to know:

  • The referral link in the campaign template is generic and should not be manually copied or shared with clients.
  • When the campaign is sent, each client will automatically receive their unique referral link.
  • When someone clicks the referral link, they will be directed to the Book Now experience on the booking widget. Learn more here.
  • When sending an email campaign, the recipient list will, by default, automatically include clients who:
  • Are associated with a location
  • Have an email address on file
  • Have opted in to receive email marketing campaigns
  • When sending an SMS campaign, MyTime automatically includes clients who have a mobile phone number on file and have double opted in to receive SMS marketing campaigns. Clients who have not double opted in or do not have a mobile phone number on file will be excluded from the recipient list.
  • You can specify a preferred delivery method for sending campaigns or automated messages (Email or SMS):
  • Use if Available: The selected method will be the method used for delivery
  • Never Use: This method will not be used, even if the selected method is unavailable
