Force Activating Referral Credit

Modified on Wed, 23 Apr at 5:26 PM

The force activation of referral credit allows you to manually add referral credits to a client’s account without requiring the standard automated triggers (such as a completed purchase). This feature is useful in cases where the referral flow didn't automatically apply the credit due to missing conditions, but you still want to honor the referral benefit.

Things to know:

  • The ability to force activate referral credits on client profiles is governed by the "Editing Referral Credit" access control.
  • Clients will not receive an automated email when a referral credit is force-activated
  • Once referral credits are force activated, the action cannot be undone.

To manually activate a client's referral credit:

  1. Navigate to the Clients tab

  2. Search for the client's profile

  3. Scroll down to the Referral Credit section
  4. Click on the View Referral Credit button 10899680-9e04133d9d830db602bd4e87e1cf5fa2.png
