MyTime allows merchants to send campaign messages via push notifications, in addition to email and SMS. Using push notifications through the MyTime Guest App can help reduce text message fees. This article explains how to configure and send push notifications for your campaigns.
Things to know:
- Your subscription must include the custom MyTime Guest App to use push notifications. To add the app to your plan, contact support@mytime.com
- .Sending campaign messages via push notifications requires the “Accessing Email Campaigns” access control setting.
- If the Guest App is not active on your account, the push notification option will be disabled.
- Push notifications can only be sent to clients who have your custom MyTime Guest App installed on their mobile devices.

Add Push Notification Message Content
To configure push notification messages for campaigns:
- Navigate to Marketing > Campaigns
- Use an existing template or create a new one
- Select the template you want to configure for push notifications (e.g., the Promotion template).
- Go to the Push Notification Message tab
- Add the content for your push notification
- Save the template
Send Push Notification via Marketing Campaign
To send a campaign via push notification:
- Hover over the desired campaign template
- Click Send
- Select the Push Notification Message tab and add content
- Click Next: Select Recipients (bottom right)
- Apply any desired filters to your recipient list - learn more about campaign filters here
- Click Send when ready
All previously sent push notification campaigns can be viewed under the Campaigns Sent tab, including campaign names, send dates, and performance metrics.
