Things to Know:
- The ability to configure the preferred delivery method for campaigns is governed by the "Accessing Email Campaigns" access control setting.
- You can specify a preferred delivery method when sending campaigns (email, SMS, or push notification):
- Use if Available: The selected method will be the method used for delivery
- Never Use: This method will not be used, even if the selected method is unavailable
- If "Use if available" is selected for both email and text when sending campaigns, only clients who have opted in to both email and SMS marketing messages will be included in the campaign recipient list. Clients who have opted into only one channel—either email or SMS—will not be included.
- Notification Requirements
- SMS Notifications: Clients must have a valid phone number on file and be double-opted in to receive marketing SMS. For more details on SMS double opt-in, learn more here.
- Email Notifications: Clients must have a valid email address on file and be opted in to receive marketing emails.
- Push Notifications: Can only be delivered to clients who have the custom MyTime Guest App installed on their mobile device.
