Service Pricing & Duration by Breed for Location Group

For pet businesses, price & duration per breed can be set by location group without having staff titles. Once a price or duration is added at the location group level, it will be edited at all locations in the location group. 


Things to know:

  • Price per breed shows when a location group is selected in /services

  • Price per breed is editable at the location group level

  • Adding price per breed at the location group level edits it at all locations in the location group

  • Adding a location to a location group sets the price per breed at that location to that of the location group (if the setting is prices and durations are the same by location group)

  • Editing price per breed at the location group level edits it at all locations in the location group


To set price & duration by breed by location group: 


  1. Navigate to Business Setup > Settings
  2. Scroll down to the staff section
  3. Set the following:
    • Do prices vary by staff member? - Prices are set by title per location or location group OR Prices are the same for all locations and staff members in a location group 
    • Do service durations vary by staff member? - Service durations are set by title per location or location group OR Service durations are the same for all locations and staff members in a location group 10197370-661d5d950b713fd7063409e3c6a6bc18.png
  4. Save your changes
  5. Navigate to Business Setup > Services

  7. Next, select the Edit link next to the service you would like to adjust the price and duration per breed 10196822-cdca2370df07805ba895066e0c730f35.png
  8. Below Price and Duration by Pet Breed, click on "Add New" 10197054-033337407911abc4763d373ea3be07e1.png
  9. Select the pet breeds, add a price and duration
  10. Save your changes


The change will be reflected at all locations in the location group and applied when creating an appointment in the new appointment modal for clients with matching breeds.
