Payment Terminal Selection on POS Tickets

On POS ticket pages, you can select a specific credit card terminal for each transaction. This article explains how to use this feature.

Things to know:

• This feature is only available for merchants with a Global Payments account using Ingenico terminals.
• Only terminals configured at the selected location will appear in the drop-down menu.
• If a location has no configured terminals, the payment terminal filter will be hidden.
• On the New Ticket page and the Swipe Card modal in the Take Payment page, a “No terminal connected” option is displayed by default.
• If no terminal is selected in the Swipe Card modal, the message “Please select a terminal from the dropdown below” will appear.
• Selecting a terminal from the POS ticket page dropdown automatically applies it to the Swipe Card modal.

To select a payment terminal on POS ticket pages, simply:

1. Navigate to POS > New Ticket 
2. Select your desired location
3. Expand the dropdown menu in the upper right-hand corner of the page

All of the terminals listed will be those that were configured for that location on the settings page.
