Waiver Expiration

Modified on Fri, 27 Jun at 3:51 PM

You can configure waivers in MyTime to have no expiration or set them to expire after a specific number of days. Using waiver expiration helps ensure that clients regularly review and agree to your most current terms and conditions. This article explains how to set up and manage waivers with an expiration period.

Things to know:

  • The ability to configure waivers to expire is governed by the "Manage Client Setup" access control setting.
  • Both active and expired waivers are visible on client profiles.
  • You can define how long each waiver remains valid (in days).
  • If a waiver has not expired, it must be manually deleted from the client’s profile before a new one can be added.
  • If a waiver has expired, a new waiver can be added without removing the old one.
  • Appointment waivers (created via custom appointment fields) appear in the notes section of the appointment modal, with the expiration date shown in parentheses.
