Deleting & Archiving Waivers

Waivers can be either deleted or archived, depending on your needs. Deleting a waiver removes it completely from the system, including all signed versions. Archiving a waiver, on the other hand, removes it from use going forward but keeps all previously signed versions visible on client profiles. This article explains the difference between deleting and archiving waivers in MyTime, and walks you through the steps for each option.


Things to know:

  • The ability to delete and archive waivers is governed by the "Manage Client Setup" access control setting.
  • Deleting a waiver completely removes it from your account and all associated client records.
  • Archiving a waiver will hide it from the "Add Waiver" dropdown on client profiles but will preserve all signed versions.
  • You can delete or archive waivers at both the parent (global) and child (location) levels.

Delete Waivers


Use this option when a waiver is no longer needed and you want to permanently remove it from the system.


  1. Navigate to the Clients tab
  2. Expand the Manage Clients menu
  3. Select Customize Client Fields
  4. Locate the waiver you want to delete and click the arrow to expand it
  5. Click the Delete link
  6. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up window.


Note: Once deleted, the waiver and any signed copies will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

 

Archive Waivers


Archiving a waiver removes it from future use but retains any already signed waivers in client profiles.


  1. Navigate to the Clients tab
  2. Expand the Manage Clients menu
  3. Select Customize Client Fields
  4. Locate the waiver you want to archive and click the arrow to expand it.
  5. Check the Archived checkbox
  6. Click "Save"


Once a waiver is archived:

  • The waiver will no longer be visible in the Add waiver drop down on client profiles
  • Signed waivers will still be visible on client profiles
