You can configure waivers in MyTime to either never expire or to expire after a set number of days. Implementing an expiration period helps ensure that clients regularly review and agree to your most current terms and conditions.
Things to know:
- Waiver expiration settings are controlled by the Manage Client Setup access control setting.
- You can set a unique validity period (in days) for each individual waiver.
- To view a full history of past waivers, you must enable the "Allow Viewing Old Waivers on Client Profile" company setting.
- When Enabled: Both current and expired waivers remain visible, and a 'View All' button will appear in the Waiver section to show full documentation.
- When Disabled: Only the most recent, active waivers are displayed to the staff.
- The "View All" history option is currently restricted to primary client profiles; it is not available for waivers associated with pets or family members.
- If a client signs a new version of an expired waiver, the system automatically replaces the old record with the latest signed copy in the primary view
- If a waiver is still active (not yet expired), it must be manually deleted from the client profile before a new one can be added.
- Waivers collected through custom appointment fields appear in the appointment modal’s Notes section, with the expiration date shown in parentheses.
