Open Tickets Report

This report displays all tickets that have been booked online, saved, or where payment has been made in part or in full but the ticket has not been closed.


Things to know:

  • The Open Tickets report can be accessed from the POS or Reports tab
  • This report filters appointments based on the date the ticket was created
  • If an appointment is booked online, it will be recorded in the report on the date the booking was made. For instance, if the appointment was booked online on August 4 for a service on August 10, the ticket will appear in the report on August 4.

  • For pet merchants, the report will show the word “deceased” in parentheses next to the name of the pet that was marked as deceased.

  • Attempting to close an open ticket that includes a deleted product will trigger the error message: "There are no stocks for X at the ticket location. Please restock first."


Access from the POS tab:

  1. Navigate to POS

  2. Select the Open Tickets tab

Access from the Reports tab:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard

  2. Select the Reports tab

  3. Under the Point Of Sale section, select the Open Tickets report

When the report opens, you can filter by a specific location, staff, item, and date. You also have the ability to export to Excel, PDF, or print.

Once you have selected your filters, click on the UPDATE button to generate the desired data.

Report Filters


FilterDescription
LocationThe location where the appointment is scheduled.
StaffThe staff member who performed the service during the date range and location selected.
Service/ProductsFilter to view open tickets on service, products or both
DateThis range will determine the appointments that were booked during the date range selected.


Report Columns


ColumnDescription
CreatedThe date the ticket was created 
TimeThe time the ticket was created or saved
Appointment DateThe date and time of the appointment. The column is sortable and based on the appointment date and time. Appointments will be displayed chronologically, with the earliest date and time at the top of the list.
ClientClient associated with the appointment or purchase. Clicking this link opens the client's profile.
Ticket #The classifying number associated with the ticket. Clicking this link opens the ticket.
AmountThe total value of the ticket
FeesDisplays the credit card processing fees for credit card transactions performed throughout the day. This only applies to merchants using Stripe. If you are using your own credit card software, or TSYS and receive a bill from them directly you will not see this column. 
TenderedThe total amount tendered
Status Indicates whether the appointment was booked online, the type of payment tendered, or whether the ticket was saved.
