This report shows a list of every service sale from saved and/or closed tickets.
Things to know:
- The ability to access this report is governed by the "Accessing Reports" access control settings
- Appointments on open tickets will not appear in the report until payment is taken and the ticket is saved or closed.
- Any additional payments made on tickets closed in the past will be reflected on the date the payment was processed. Example: If a ticket was closed in October for $20 and later edited in November with an additional payment of $10:
- The revenue for October will remain at $20.
- The revenue for November will reflect the additional $10 payment.
- Refunds will show up on the date the refund took place rather than on the original ticket date. For example, if a service sale happened on November 13th but was refunded on November 23rd, this report will display the negative revenue on the 23rd rather than the 13th.
- If multiple services are attached to an appointment you will see multiple entries on the report for the ticket (one for each service).
- For pet merchants, the report will show the word “deceased” in parentheses next to the name of the pet that was marked as deceased.
- When filtered by "Revenue At Time of Purchase," membership, gift card, and package redemptions appear in their respective revenue columns (e.g., Service, Class, or Product) and the Prepaid column. The value is deducted from gross revenue to calculate net revenue. If the “Deduct Prepaid Amount from Gross Revenue in Reports” hidden setting is enabled:
- Prepaid redemptions are automatically deducted from gross revenue and shown as $0.
- The Prepaid column is hidden entirely from the report.
- To request activation, please contact your account manager or email support@mytime.com.
- When comparing the Service Sales Detail report with the Service table in the Business Snapshot report, you may notice discrepancies in service counts. This is expected, as each report tracks different metrics:
- Business Snapshot – Service Table
- Measures unique services performed
- Each distinct service is counted once per appointment, regardless of how many times it was performed.
Service Sales Detail Report
- Measures total services performed per appointment
- Each instance of a service is listed individually, meaning repeated services within a single appointment will appear multiple times.
Examples:
1. Appointment XX includes:
- Service 1 (once)
- Service 2 (once)
2. Appointment YY includes:
- Service 1 (performed 3 times)
Business Snapshot - Service Table
- Service 1: Count = 1
- Service 2: Count = 1
- Total: 3 unique services across 2 appointments
Service Sales Detail Report
- Service 1: Appears 4 times (1 from XX, 3 from YY)
- Service 2: Appears 1 time
- Total: 5 service line items, 2 appointments
- Business Snapshot – Service Table
