This article will guide you through the steps for deleting packages from the package interface and the client's profile.
Things to know:
- The ability to delete packages is controlled by the ‘Access Packages’ access control setting.
- For franchise businesses, global packages can only be deleted from the parent account.
- Local packages can only be deleted from the child account where they were created.
- Deleting a package at the child level from one location removes it from all locations associated with that child account.
- Deleting a package at the parent level for a location, will remove it from all child accounts.
- Once a package credit has been used—either to pay for an appointment, class, or product—or if a credit is manually removed, the option to delete that package will no longer be available on the client profile.
- Deleting a package from a client’s profile will not affect any past or upcoming appointments that used that package's items.
- Deleting a package from the Package Management interface does not remove it from any client’s profile—the package will remain active and usable.
- If an appointment is scheduled before the package is deleted, but the ticket is not created, the package benefits will not apply at checkout.
- Once a package is deleted, it will no longer be included in reports that track package revenue.

Deleting Packages From The Package Interface
To delete a package from the packages tab:
1. Navigate to Location Setup > Packages
2. Select the desired location from the dropdown
3. Locate and select the edit icon for the package you wish to delete
4. Select "Delete Package" at the bottom of the page
5. Type the word "Delete" in the input field
6. Select "Delete" at the bottom of the modal
The deleted package will no longer be visible.
Deleting A Package From A Client's Profile
To delete a package from a client's profile:
1. Navigate to the "Clients" tab
2. Select the desired client
3. Navigate to the "Packages Purchased" section
4. Select the dropdown next to the package you wish to delete
5. Click the "Edit Package" button
6. Select the "Delete Package" link at the bottom left of the modal
7. Confirm the deletion by selecting the "Delete" button
If the package was purchased via POS or online, you will be prompted to process a refund.
Once deleted, the package will no longer be visible on the client's profile.
