Similarities Between the Product Sales Analysis and Product Sales Detail Reports

Both the Product Sales Analysis and Product Sales Detail reports provide deep insights into product revenue and profitability. This article outlines their similarities and key differences to help you choose the right report for your business needs.

Similarities Between the Reports

Both reports share the following behaviors and logic:

  • Closed Tickets Only: Products on open tickets will not appear until the ticket is saved or closed.
  • Refund Tracking: Refunds are reflected on the date the refund was processed, not the original purchase date.
  • Late Payments: Additional payments made on previously closed tickets are reflected on the date the payment was processed.
  • Revenue Filters: Both reports can be filtered by Revenue At Time of Use and Revenue At Time of Purchase to dictate how prepaid redemptions are displayed.
  • Loyalty Tracking: A Loyalty Prepaid column appears on both reports (for accounts with an active Loyalty subscription) when the Time of Use filter is selected.
  • Export Restrictions: Both reports can only be exported in Summary View.
