For businesses using our multi-staff services, there is an option to automatically marking qualified staff members as eligible to perform the service. In this article, we will discuss how the feature works.
Things to know:
- This feature is controlled by the "Automatically mark a qualified staff member as eligible staff" hidden setting. To enable the hidden setting, please contact your account manager or our support team at support@mytime.com
- This feature only works for businesses that utilize the Multi-Staff services. For more details, learn more here
- When the hidden setting is enabled:
- The ‘Eligible Resources and Staff’ section in the service modal will be renamed to ‘Eligible Resources.’
- Staff members listed under the ‘Qualified Staff’ will automatically be marked as eligible. Additionally, assigning a service to a staff member from their profile will mark them both qualified and eligible to perform the service.
- If specific staff members should not be eligible, you can still manually manage assignments in the duration modal.
- When the hidden setting is disabled:
- Staff marked as qualified are not automatically eligible.
- To make a staff member eligible, you must add them to both the ‘Qualified Staff’ and ‘Eligible Resources and Staff’ sections manually.
- Qualified Staff are the staff members who can perform the service and are considered qualified based on pricing. This means, if a staff member has a defined price for a service at a specific location, they are eligible to perform that service at that location.
- Eligible Staff are staff members who are required to perform the service. The 'Eligible Staff' section was introduced to support the multi-staff per service services. It allows businesses to define which staff members are required for each segment of the service. For example, in services like couples massages, where two staff members are needed simultaneously, eligible staff can be assigned per segment or for the entire service.
