Class Specific Instructions For Email & SMS Templates

Modified on Wed, 17 Sep at 12:24 PM

This article explains how to configure class-specific instructions for automated email and SMS notifications. These instructions allow you to include details unique to each class in the messages sent to clients.

Things to know:

  • The ability to configure class-specific instructions is controlled by the Accessing Automated Messages access control setting.
  • Class-specific instructions can only be added to Class Notifications.
  • Classes appear in the modal in the same order as they are listed in the Class menu.
  • Instructions can only be added to individual classes, not to class categories.
  • Each class template requires its own set of instructions—there is no option to copy instructions from one template to another.
  • For franchise businesses, instructions cannot be added at the parent account level; they can only be configured at the child account level.
