Customizing Your Email Theme

This article will guide you through the process of personalizing the appearance of your email communications, ensuring that each email reflects your business's unique style.


Things to Know:

  • Email theme customization is controlled by the "Accessing Automated Messages" access control setting.
  • The selected theme will apply to both automated messages and campaign email templates.
  • Images: Use PNG or JPG files, max 2MB. Recommended size: at least 1200×1400px (minimum: 600×700px).
  • Letterhead: Leaves 30px of space at the top of the email body for a background image—ideal for custom headers.
  • The “Reset Theme” option appears only if changes have been saved.


You can edit the general theme on all automated messages and campaign templates by simply:

  1. Navigating to Marketing > Automated Messages 
  2. Click on the “Edit Email Theme” link below the template on the left                                                                
  3. Here you can set the background and button/link colors as well as the background image. You can also choose whether or not to include the letterhead. The changes made will be reflected on all automated messages and campaign email templates. 
  4. Save your changes
