Editing Loyalty Points on Client Profiles

You can view and edit a client’s loyalty points directly from their profile. This section provides a detailed view of total points earned, redeemable value, and ticket numbers associated with both earned and redeemed transactions.


Things to know:

  • The ability to edit loyalty points on client profiles is governed by the "Accessing Loyalty Points" access control setting. 
  • Loyalty points are accumulated based on activities and purchases made by the primary client, as well as any linked members or pets.
  • Any manual adjustments made to loyalty points are recorded in the Audit Trail for tracking and transparency.



To edit a client's loyalty points:


  1. Navigate to the Clients tab
  2. Search for and select the desired client profile
  3. Scroll down to the Loyalty Program section
  4. Click the dropdown arrow to expand the section
  5. Click the Edit Loyalty Points button
  6. In the Edit Loyalty Points modal, adjust the points by:
    • Clicking the up/down arrows, or manually entering the desired value
  7. Click Save to apply the changes


The updated point balance will appear immediately and will be logged in the Audit Trail.
