Multi-client services are configured for more than 1 client and can be used for couple bookings or multiple family member appointments. In this article, we will walk through the steps your client will take to book these services online.

- Services set up to allow additional clients cannot be booked together with services that do not support additional clients. Once a service designed for additional clients is selected, incompatible services will be greyed out. Hovering over them will display the message: “Only services that accommodate the same number of guests may be booked at one time.”
- If the email address entered for an additional client is not already in the MyTime database, a new client profile will be created. If the email matches an existing client, the appointment will be scheduled under that existing profile.
- Using the Book Again option on the booking widget’s confirmation page or the in-store appointment modal will not prefill additional client details in the new appointment modal.
- The confirmation page, My Account, and checkout page will display information for both the main and additional clients. All clients will receive automated booking emails unless the Send confirmation to additional client option is unchecked.
- Canceling the appointment will cancel it for both the main and additional clients.
- By default, the Book Again button prefills details from previous appointments. A hidden setting can disable this automatic prefilling. To enable this setting, contact support@mytime.com.
- During checkout, clients who are not signed in will be prompted to log in or click Sign Up to create an account.
- A ticket is automatically generated once the appointment is booked online.
To book multi-client services, clients would need to:
- Navigate to your booking widget
- Select "Book" next to the services configured for additional clients. These services will display the duration and the price for the service along with the number of additional guest required for the service
- Select add-on service if needed, then select a time on the 'Pick a time' page
- On the checkout page, complete the intake form and credit card details (if necessary), along with the additional client details. The first and last name, email address, and phone number are required
- If they wish not to update the additional client of the booking, check the "Send confirmation to additional client" checkbox
- Click the 'Complete Booking' button to checkout. The confirmation page will then display all details for the appointment, including both the client and the client
