This article provides a step-by-step guide on how clients can add themselves to the waitlist.
Things to Know:
- By default, waitlist estimation will ignore appointments that are waiting for more than 15 minutes.
- All the waiting appointments that are ignored in estimation will display ’N/A’. If you want the waitlist estimation to ignore appointments that have been waiting for more or less than 15 minutes, please contact our Customer Support Team at support@mytime.com to enable this on your behalf.
- You can set a restriction on how long the waitlist can expand; for example, if the wait time reaches x hours, clients will not be added to the list. Learn more here.
Once the Walk-in Waitlist is configured on your website, clients can add themselves to the waitlist by:
- Navigate to your booking page using the booking URL or book button on your website
- Select the desired location (if the account has multiple locations)
- Select the desired service
- The estimated wait time will be displayed
- Select Check-In button
- The client will be redirected to the checkout page where they can sign in if they already have an account, continue using their Facebook or apple accounts, or create a new account
- Complete the intake form questions (where applicable)
- Complete Check-In
- The check-in confirmation page will appear
