Notification Center

The Notification Center helps you stay updated on important account activity and product updates. It is divided into two sections:

  • Alerts – Shows new online appointment and class bookings, Stripe dispute notifications, and low or out-of-stock inventory warnings.
  • What’s New – Shares updates from MyTime about newly released features.

This article explains how to access, filter, and manage notifications in both sections.


Things to Know

  • For accounts with multiple locations, you must filter by a specific location to view relevant alerts.
  • The notification bell is available from any page (top-left corner). The number on the bell shows your unread alerts.
  • If there are no alerts for the selected location, you will see: “You have no alerts.”
  • The notification bell can be hidden if desired. To disable it, contact support@mytime.com.
  • Low-stock, out-of-stock, and expired stock alerts only appear if they are enabled in your inventory settings. Learn more here
  • Only location owners and managers can view stock alerts.
  • If your account uses Stripe as the payment provider, dispute notifications will appear in the Notification Center.
  • At any time, only the six most recent alerts are displayed.

Viewing Alerts

  1. Click the notification bell.
  2. Select the Alerts tab.
  3. Choose the location you want to view.
  4. A preview of each alert for that location will appear.
    • Clicking the appointment link opens it on the schedule.
    • Clicking the class link opens the class roster.
    • Clicking the stock alert link redirects you to POS > Inventory.
    • Clicking the Stripe dispute notification link will redirect you to the POS to view the ticket for the disputed transaction.
  5. To remove an alert, click the X in the top-right corner of the modal.


Viewing What’s New

  1. Click the notification bell.
  2. Select the What’s New tab.
  3. A preview of recent feature updates will appear.
  4. To view details, click the update heading. A modal will open with more information.
    • To close the modal, click “Great, got it!”
    • To remove the update from your Notification Center, click the X in the top-right corner of the modal.
