This report shows key details about classes and events, including capacity, revenue, cancellations, number of registrations, and other important metrics.
Things to know:
- The ability to access this report is governed by the "Accessing Reports" access control settings
- Sale taxes are not included in the revenue displayed
- For businesses that do not offer packages, memberships, classes, services, gift cards, appointments, or appointment-related fees (such as environmental or cancellation fees), the system automatically hides any report columns related to those features. For example, if an account does not offer classes, this report will not be visible.
To access this report:
- Navigate to Dashboard
- Select the Reports tab
- Under the Bookings section, select the By Class report
When the report loads, you can filter by a specific location, staff, and date. You can choose to view the report by date or location. If the By Location button is used at the top of the report, you will be able to easily compare metrics across locations and location groupings to see which locations are doing better or worse on that dimension.
Below the By Location button, you have the option to download the report as a CSV, PDF, or print version.
Once you have selected your filters, click on the UPDATE button to generate the desired data.
Report Filters
| Filter | Description |
| Location | The location where the class session took place
|
| Staff | The staff member who performed the class/event during the date range and location selected. |
| Date | This range will determine the classes/events that were booked during the date range selected. |
Report Columns
| Column | Description |
| Category | The category assigned to the class or event |
| Event Name | The name of the class or event |
| Sessions | Total number of scheduled classes/events |
| Gross Revenue | Revenue generated during the selected date range |
| Registrations | Number of clients who registered |
| Availability | Maximum capacity of the class/event |
| Registration Rate | (Registrations ÷ Availability) × 100 |
| Check-Ins | Number of clients who checked in |
| Check-In Rate | (Check-Ins ÷ Registrations) × 100 |
| Cancellations | Number of clients who cancelled |
| Cancellation Rate | (Cancellations ÷ Registrations) × 100 |
| No Show Count | Number of clients who did not attend |
| No Show Rate | (No Shows ÷ Registrations) × 100 |
