This article will guide you through the steps to delete referral credit from a client profile on the scheduler app.
Things to know:
- The ability to delete referral credit is governed by the "Accessing Referral Credits" access control setting.
- Deleting a referral credit will remove it from both the referrer’s and the referee’s profiles.
- If a client has already used part of their referral credit, trying to delete the referral credit will trigger this error message: "Cannot delete referral credit because it would make the balance negative."
To delete referral credits from a client's profile
1. Log in to the app. For detailed instructions, learn here
2. After signing in, you will be directed to the Schedule by default
3. Tap the Clients icon located at the bottom of the screen

4. Search for the client by typing their name in the 'Search' field, or select the client from the list
5. Scroll to the 'Referral Credit' section on the client’s profile
6. Tap the referral credit you want to delete 
7. From the 'Referral Credit(s)' section, tap the desired credit 
8. In the Referral Credit(s) details, tap Delete Referral Credit at the bottom of the screen
9. A warning message will appear stating that deleting the referral credit will remove the credit for both the referee and the referrer.
10. Tap 'Delete' to confirm.

Once deleted, the referral credits will no longer appear on the client’s profile.
