Configure Notifications at the Location Level

This article explains how to manage and configure email notifications that are sent to a specific location’s email address. 

Things to Know:

• By default, client replies to any automated transactional or marketing messages are sent to the location owner's email address. If you've set a location-specific email in Business Setup > Business Profile > Edit location modal, client replies will be sent there instead.
• You can also designate a separate reply-to email address (different from both the location email and owner email) by request. This is a hidden setting that must be enabled by the MyTime team. To activate it, please contact us at support@mytime.com. 

How to Configure Location's Email Address

To update or set the email address where notifications should be sent at the location level:

1. Go to Business Setup > Business Profile 
2. Scroll to the location section 
3. Click 'Edit' next to the location you want to update
4. In the Edit Location modal, find the Email Address field
5. Enter the desired location email address
   
6. Click 'Save Location Info'

The following types of notifications are sent to the location’s email address:

Tip Received via SMS – Notification that a client has left a tip via SMS.

Appointment Booked by Client – Alert when a client books an appointment online.

Appointment Booked and Canceled by Client – Alert when a client both books and cancels their own appointment.

Appointment Booked by Business and Canceled by Client – Notification that an appointment created by the business was later canceled by the client.

A staff member was requested for the appointment booked online by the client - Triggers a notification when a specific staff member was requested for the appointment. 

New Gift Card Purchase - Sends a notification whenever a gift card is purchased online.

Payment Failures (Appointments, Classes) - Triggers a notification when an online payment fails for an appointment or class booking.
