The Scheduler App allows staff members to scan barcodes of in-store items, automatically deducting the quantities from the backbar inventory. This feature is available only on the mobile app and is not supported on the web.
Things to know:
Device Compatibility
- iOS: Requires iOS 14 or later.
- Android: Requires Android 5.0 or later.
- Access Control Requirement
- The Consume Inventory feature is linked to the Accessing Inventory Details permission. To use this feature, the access level must be set to Edit.

- Barcode Scanning Behavior
- If the barcode scanner does not find a matching product, the app will display the error message: "Error - SKU item with that barcode not found locally."
Each time the scanner beeps, it confirms that the product has been successfully scanned and deducted from inventory. Scanning will continue as long as the camera remains pointed at the barcode
To access the consume inventory mode feature:
1. Log into the app. For details on how to, learn here
2. Select the More tab at the bottom right of your screen
3. Next, select Inventory from the menu options
4. Click on show more (3 vertical dots) at the top right of the page
5. When the menu expands, select Consume
6. Scan the barcode of the consumed product
The following will happen:
- The back bar quantity will be deducted automatically in the inventory
- The back bar quantity displayed in the Inventory report will decrease
- The adjustment will be reflected in the Inventory Adjustment report. The reason displayed will state "Consumed".
