Editing Packages on Client Profiles

You can easily modify the number of credits remaining or the validity of a package directly from the client’s profile. This guide will walk you through the steps to edit packages on a client profile.


Things to know:

  • You cannot edit package price or which item is included from the client profile, only remaining credit and validity.
  • When you edit the package's item credit quantity on the client's profile, the change will be reflected in the Package Balance report. The new quantity will appear in the 'Remaining Quantity' column of the report.
  • The package's validity is determined by the local time zone of the location. It remains active from the time of purchase until 11:59 PM local time on the expiration date.
  • If an appointment is scheduled and initially covered by a package, but the package validity is later updated to a future date, the appointment will no longer be covered by the package.
  • Package item credits on a client profile cannot exceed the amount set in the package configuration.
  • If the package credit balance is adjusted on the client’s profile:
    • Any existing appointments (not linked to a closed ticket) that meet the package criteria will automatically be covered by the package.
    • If the package validity is updated to a past date:
      • Past appointments (not associated with a closed ticket) will be covered by the package once they fall within the updated validity period.
    • Future appointments will be covered as long as they fall within the new validity period and package item credits are available.


To edit a client's package: 

  1. Navigate to the Clients tab
  2. Select the client
  3. Scroll down to the Packages section
  4. Click the Edit Package button to edit the package details
  5. When the edit package modal appears, you can edit the following: 
    • The purchase location
    • The expiration period by unchecking the 'Never Expire' for indefinite packages
    • The quantity of the credit offered                                                                                                                                                                
  6. Save


Once saved, the changes will be effective for that client's package moving forward. If the number of credits is adjusted, the change will be displayed in the Package History section.
