Differences Between Back Bar, Facility, and Environmental Fees

Modified on Wed, 31 Dec at 7:07 AM

MyTime supports several fee types to help businesses recover operational costs such as product usage, facility upkeep, and environmental disposal. Understanding how these fees differ is important for accurate billing, staff compensation, and regulatory compliance.

  • Back bar fees cover the cost of products or supplies used by staff during a service.
  • Facility fees account for the use of the business’s physical space.
  • Environmental fees help offset costs related to recycling or disposing of used materials.

This article explains how each fee type differs in terms of setup, application, visibility, and impact on staff compensation.

The table below highlights the key differences between back bar fees, facility fees, and environmental fees.
