One-time sales, flash sales, and off-peak prices are designed to help promote appointment openings, offer discounts, increase productivity, and re-engage inactive clients. However, they differ in how they are triggered and applied. These features are available only for online bookings.
Things to know:
If One-Time Sale, Flash Sale, and Off-Peak Price are all configured:
- The system automatically prioritizes the best deal for the client. When a client books via a Flash Sale email, the system compares the One-Time Sale and the Flash Sale and applies only the higher discount to the Off-Peak price.
- If the One-Time Sale is higher: The system applies the One-Time Sale and ignores the Flash Sale, even if the appointment was booked via the email link.
- If the Flash Sale is higher: The system applies the Flash Sale and ignores the One-Time Sale.
- Example:
- Service Price: $150
- Off-Peak Price: $50
- One-Time Sale: 15% ($7.50 off)
- Flash Sale: 40% ($20.00 off)
- Scenario 1: Booking via Email Link The system compares both discounts and applies the 40% Flash Sale because it offers the greater savings. The client pays $30.
- Scenario 2: Booking Directly via Website The Flash Sale discount does not apply. The system applies the 15% One-Time Sale to the Off-Peak price, and the client pays $42.50.
