Global Location Groups

Global location groups help franchisors manage multiple franchise locations more efficiently by grouping locations that share the same pricing. By using location groups, franchisors can maintain consistent pricing, inventory, and membership settings across selected locations while reducing the need to update each location individually. This provides better oversight, simplifies administration, and ensures brand consistency across the franchise network. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to create and manage location groups. 


Things to Know:

  • The ability to create location groups is governed by the "Accessing Business Profile" access control.
  • Location groups can be created at the parent or child level
  • Once a location group is created, it will appear in the location filter on the inventory page, reports, packages, and membership tabs. Location groups will also appear in the services menu, but only if the "Do Prices Vary By Staff Member?" setting is configured to one of the following:
  • Prices are set by title per location or location group
  • Prices are the same for all locations and staff members in a location group
  • Changes at the group level automatically update all locations in the group



To create a location group at the parent level, simply:


  1. Go to  Location Setup > Business Profile
  2.  Navigate to the "Location Grouping" section
  3.  Select "Create Location Grouping"
  4. From the "Create Location Grouping" modal enter the name of the location group
  5. Select the location/locations to be added to the group from the dropdown menu
  6. . Save

The group name will appear on the Business Profile page and in location drop-down menus (e.g., when updating services, classes, memberships, packages, taxes, inventory, or viewing dashboard data and reports).
