Deep Linking Memberships on the Booking Widget

At MyTime, we provide the option to generate a button or link that directly adds memberships to your clients' shopping carts for online purchases via your website. This article will guide you through the steps for deep linking memberships on the booking widget.

From your account:

1. Navigate to Business Setup > Website Tools 
2. Select the Setup button next to "Add Appointment Booking & Purchases to Your Website" 
3.  Next, select the Booking Widget option, and then proceed to set up the widget.
   
    
4. On the Customize Booking Theme page, set up your button and widget themes, then scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Next" to proceed to the installation page.
   
   
   
5. From there:
   
   • Select a specific location from the Default Location dropdown menu.
   • Select "Buy Memberships" from the Widget Includes dropdown menu.
   • A list of all memberships available for the selected location will be displayed in the Purchase Specific Memberships dropdown menu. You can then choose the specific membership that you wish to deep link.
6. Once you have made your selection, copy the generated code
   
   
7. Paste the code where you would like it to appear on your website
8. When your clients select the link or button on your website, the specific membership will be selected by default, and they will be taken directly to the payment page, as shown in the image below.
9. After filling out the required information, your client can proceed by clicking on the "Complete Purchase" button.

Deep Linking Membership Using the Express Checkout Link

1. Navigate to Business Setup > Website Tools
2. Click the Setup button next to "Add Appointment Booking & Purchases to Your Website"
3. Choose the Express Checkout option, then proceed to set up the widget
4. You will be redirected to the customization page. In the "Booking Page Settings"section, here you can:
   • Select a specific location from the Default Location dropdown menu
   • Choose "Buy Memberships" from the Booking Page Includes dropdown menu
   • A list of all memberships available for the selected location will appear in the Purchase Specific Memberships dropdown menu. Select the specific membership you wish to deep link
5. Scroll down to the "Customize Booking Page Theme" section to adjust widget themes and specify what should be displayed in the header when purchasing a membership online
6. Under the "Book Button settings"section, you can:
   • Choose your desired button placement and size                                                                                                                                                            
7. Click on "Next", then copy the generated code and embed it on your website.
