Switch User

Modified on Mon, 17 Nov at 3:37 PM

MyTime’s Switch User feature improves workplace efficiency by allowing staff members to quickly and securely switch between MyTime accounts. This is especially useful during shift changes or in environments where multiple employees share the same device. The feature saves time, maintains security, and ensures that inactive sessions are automatically locked to prevent unauthorized access.

Things to know:

  • The ability to configure the Switch User feature is controlled by the Access Account Settings access control setting.
  • The feature itself is managed through the Enable Rapid User Switching company setting.
  • Only staff members with a MyTime login (a profile with a username and password) will appear in the Switch User list.
  • If a timeout value is set for Auto-lock web app after: the account will automatically lock after a period of inactivity. Learn more here
