In this article, we will walk through the steps on how to cancel classes from the scheduler app.
Things to Know:
- The ability to cancel class sessions/events is controlled by the 'Schedule Classes/Events' access control setting.
- When a class is canceled, it will be removed from the schedule
- Attendees will be notified of the cancellation once the "Class Canceled By Business" automated message is activated.
- Employees do not earn a commission on cancellation fees
- Once a cancellation policy is established, it applies to both new and existing client bookings.
- The cancellation fee is only charged if the client cancels outside the specified cancellation window
To cancel a class session:
1. Log into the app. For details on how to, learn here
2. Once signed in, you will be directed to the schedule by default
3. Locate and select the class you wish to cancel
4. The "Event" page will pop up displaying the class details
5. Select "Cancel"
6. The "Cancel Event" modal will appear
7. Select "Yes"
Once a class is canceled, it will be removed from the schedule, and attendees will receive notifications about the cancellation.
