Refunding Tickets on the Scheduler App

In this article, we will walk through the steps on how to refund tickets.   


Things to know: 

  • The ability to refund a ticket is controlled by the "Edit/Refund Closed Tickets" access control
  • When refunding tickets, you have the flexibility to choose between refunding all items or only specific ones. Moreover, you can refund the full amount or provide a partial refund
  • To refund a specific item, you can simply deselect the checkboxes for the items you prefer not to refund
  • Once a ticket is fully refunded it cannot be reopened


To refund a ticket: 


1. Log into the app. For details on how to, learn here

2. Once signed in you will be directed to the schedule by default

3. Select "POS" at the bottom of the screen

You will be directed to the new ticket screen

4. From the 'New Ticket' screen, select "History" at the top left of the screen

5. Locate and select the ticket from the "Closed Ticket" section that you wish to refund

6. From the 'Closed Ticket' screen, select "Payment"

7. Select "Refund" at the bottom of the page

8. You can remove the items from the ticket that you don’t wish to refund

9. You have the option to edit the amount you wish to refund by selecting "Refund Amount" and enter the value

10. Select Next

11. Select "Refund" at the top of the page

12. Confirmation that the ticket has been refunded will be displayed

13. Refunded tickets will be visible in the "Closed Ticket" section on the ticket history screen
