Connecting MyTime to Zapier

Zapier helps you automate the most tedious parts of your daily work. It is a platform that connects various applications using webhooks and APIs, eliminating the need for coding. This application processes data sent by MyTime via webhooks and interacts with MyTime partners' APIs. In this article, we will guide you through the integration process between Zapier and MyTime.
 

Things to know:

For franchise businesses, you must have webhooks and partner APIs enabled on both the parent and child accounts; however, Zapier only accepts API keys from the parent account. To learn more about webhooks, view here and partner API, here 


Connecting MyTime to Zapier


  1. Navigate to www.zapier.com and log into Zapier. If you do not have an existing account, sign up for free
  2. Once signed in, you’ll be directed to Zapier’s homepage. In the left-hand panel, you can click on the following: 
    • Create: Build Zaps, Tables, Interfaces, Chatbots, and Canvases.
      • Zaps: Automated workflows consisting of a trigger and one or more actions.
      • Tables: A no-code database for storing and automating data.
      • Interface: Create forms, pages, and apps connected to 6,000+ apps.
      • Chatbots: Build AI-powered bots that use Zapier automations.
      • Canvas: Visualize and document workflow automations.
      • Apps: Search and connect apps to use in integrations.
      • Zap History: View past automation activity.
    • What would you like to automate?: Here you can enter what you want to automate and the system will provide results that match what you entered
    • Start with a template: You can select a template from the list of pre-saved templates to use
  3. To connect MyTime: Use the search bar or the Apps button.
    • Using the search bar: Search for “MyTime.” DF384BD9-13C6-48FF-99A8-7BD392EFC62E.jpeg
      • This will take you to the MyTime Integration page, where you can select an app to connect with MyTime by either clicking on a predefined option or searching for one
      • Click the "Connect these app" button
    • Using the Apps button: You can click the Apps button
      • This takes you to the search function, where you can look for the app you want to integrate. Simply search for MyTime and click "Connect" next to it                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
  4. Click 'Connect' these apps or Connect next to MyTime. 
  5. When prompted, enter the following: 
    • Parent account Partner API key – found on your MyTime Business Setup > Company Settings page.
    • Subdomain: Enter “www.”
  6. Click 'Yes, Continue to MyTime' to authorize.
  7. Your MyTime account is now connected to Zapier.
