Client Label Discounts on Printed Tickets

Modified on Tue, 29 Jul at 5:07 PM

We offer the ability to create and display discounts based on client labels when printing tickets from the appointment modal. This feature allows you to assign discounts to specific client labels, which will automatically appear on the printed ticket if applicable. The printed ticket can then be brought to the register and used for redemption.

Things to know:

  • The ability to create and manage client labels and client label discounts is governed by the following access control settings:
    • Accessing Client Records

    • Accessing Account Settings

  • The ability to print appointment tickets is governed by the "Accessing Appointments" access control setting.

  • This feature requires the “Show discount on the printed receipt” hidden setting to be enabled by the MyTime team. To activate it, contact support@mytime.com

  • This feature is only applicable to tickets printed from the appointment modal.

  • To learn more about creating client labels, click here.

  • If the client associated with the appointment has a qualifying label, the corresponding discount code will be automatically included on the printed ticket.

  • You can create multiple discounts per label, depending on your business needs. For example, you can add multiple discounts configured to be applied to the VIP client label.

  • The POS receipt footer message does not affect the display of the client label discount message. If both are configured, both messages will appear on the printed receipt.

  • If a client has multiple assigned labels—each with its own discount—all applicable discounts will be displayed on the printed ticket.
