Connect terminal to power and internet
- Follow the instructions in the video above OR the visual aid below to connect your reader to your network via an ethernet connection
- If you are connecting the Lane/7000 via WiFi (WiFi model only) follow the steps here to connect to WiFi - then refer to this article to complete the setup.
- Once your reader is connected to the internet the home screen your reader will display the following options: CloudPDC or LocalPDC. Please select CloudPDC. After doing so your reader will reboot. Once it is back on the home screen (which reads "this land closed") proceed to the next steps below.
- If your card reader does not display these options press 0000 > scroll down to connection status > If your reader shows not connected please hold the yellow key + # key for 3 seconds to reboot. Once rebooted you should see the options in step 9 above.
Register the terminal to your MyTime account (This Lane Closed)
- Once connected and the reader has booted up, you will see the MyTimePay screen (as seen below). If you don't see a MyTime Pay screen (e.g. you see This Lane Closed) screen you need to register your reader to your MyTime account. Follow the video above or the steps here to register your reader. Return to this article after registration.

**TIP If you ever need to force reboot your terminal, hold the yellow key + # for 3 seconds**
Tips & Tricks
- To reboot your terminal, hold the yellow key and # for 3 seconds
- To check the terminal status (internet connection, battery life, etc), press 0000 on the keypad.
Troubleshoot
150 error
- Verify your card reader is connected to the internet
- On your keypad, press 0000. This will display a terminal status page.
- ,Using the up and down arrow below the screen scroll to CONNECTION STATUS. It should read ACTIVE or CONNECTED. If it is NOT CONNECTED please work with your network admin to establish an internet connection to this device. You can also view our guide here on troubleshooting connection issues.
