For memberships, purchased in POS with a future start date, the next charge date will be a month after the membership start date or billing date rather than the membership purchase date. Please note, that this change will only apply to tickets that were closed effective August 4, 2022 (the date this change was launched).
Scenarios
Scenario 1
If the membership has a billing date based on the date of sign-up, and the membership start date is in the future, the next charge date will be one month from the start date rather than from the purchase date. For example:
Billing Date - Date of Sign Up
Purchase Date: August 9
Start Date: August 11
The next billing date will be September 11
Scenario 2
If the membership is set to charge on a specific day of the month, and the membership start date is in the future, the next charge date will be one month from the membership's billing date. For example:
Billing Date - 17th of the month
Purchase Date: August 9
Start Date: August 15
The next billing date will be September 17
