When a client books an appointment online and selects the "No Preference" option, we use a round-robin mechanism to assign a staff member to the service.
Things to know:
The round-robin mechanism does not take into account appointments made in-store or those for which a specific staff member was requested.
Round Robin Logic:
- Choose between staff members who are available to provide the requested service at the requested time
- Choose the staff member with the least auto-assigned appointments scheduled for the current month
- If multiple staff members are available at the requested time, the staff member with the least auto-assigned appointments will be selected
- If one-time sales or off-peak times are enabled, the staff member with the lowest price will be selected
