Merging Family Members, Pets and Vehicles

If you have duplicate children (pets, family members, or vehicles), you can merge the duplicate accounts from the primary client's profile. 

Things to know:

  • By default, appointment history, memberships, and packages are retained  
  • You can determine which first name, last name, gender, date of birth, notes, and pet breed (for pet businesses) to keep
  • If only one family member, pet, or vehicle is on the account, the merge option will not be displayed 

To merge a child:

  1. Go to the Clients tab
  2. Search for the primary client
  3. Open the client's profile
  4. Expand the "All Family Members / All Pets / All Vehicles" menu in the top right  18471783-995e536cd11ac09adaa4bceea1f1356f.png

  6. Select the children you'd like to merge, then hit the Merge Selected button at the bottom right of the page 18472095-8452522c85c81b7c5bc76dade2ccb5f8.png

  8. Save
