Editing Gift Cards in the Client Profile

After a client has been assigned a gift card, the value can be changed on their profile. The adjustment history audit trail will indicate any changes made to a gift card's balance. 

In this article, we will look at the steps of editing a gift card on a client's profile.  

Things to know:

  1. The adjustment history audit trail will only show changes that occurred after March 23, 2022 (the date this feature was launched). 
  2. Any changes to a client's gift card balance made before March 23, 2022, the message "Currently there is no audit trail data" will be displayed in the audit trail.
  3. Tickets from other companies will not be hyperlinked for accounts on the global database. 

Editing Gift Card Balance

To change the balance on a gift card, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Clients tab
  2. Open the client profile
  3. Scroll down to the Gift Cards section

Gift Card Adjustment History

The gift card adjustment history displays the date and time the gift card value was modified, as well as the name of the employee who made the adjustment.

To view the adjustment history:

  1. Navigate to the Clients tab
  2. Open the client profile
  3. Scroll down to the Gift Cards section  
  4. Select the Adjustment History link

Column Description
Date/Time The date and time the gift balance was adjusted
Employee The name of the employee who adjusted the gift card value

Amount Changed
The total value that was added or subtracted 

Gift Card Balance
The balance remaining on the gift card
