In this article, we will look at the steps of adding or editing a gift card on a client's profile.
An advantage of adding a gift card to the client’s profile is that it will automatically be displayed as a payment method to choose from when taking payment for an item the client purchased.
Here are the steps:
- Go to the Clients tab
- Open the client profile
- Scroll down to the Gift Cards section
- Click on the Add Gift Card link or the + icon on the right
- A modal will open where you can select a location, add a gift card number and the amount. If you’d like, you can process payment for the gift card by using the Take Payment button. Doing that will redirect you to POS to process the payment and close the ticket.
- Once you have entered the amount and selected a location, click on the Add button.
- The gift card will then be successfully added to the client’s profile. You will be able to increase or decrease the amount by selecting the Edit Gift Card button.
