Purchasing Gift Cards on the Booking Widget

Once your widget is configured to include gift cards, your clients will be able to go to your booking page using the booking URL or book button on your website to purchase a gift card. Depending on how you configured the widget, your gift cards can be a stand-alone item.

Things to know:

  • Auto-applying promotions are currently not supported for gift card purchases on the booking widget  
  • Gift cards purchased online and assigned to individuals without a MyTime account will be visible on the purchaser's account through the widget. However, if the setting "Display Unassigned Gift Cards On The Purchaser's Profile" is enabled, they won't be visible in-store.
  • To ensure the visibility of these online gift cards in-store, our support team must activate a hidden setting. Please reach out to our Support Team at support@mytime.com. Once enabled, the gift card will appear on the client's profile in-store, without the option to assign it to the recipient later.

To purchase a gift card online your clients will have to: 

  1. Navigate to your booking widget
  2. Select the desired location (applicable for accounts with multiple locations)
  3. Select the Gift Cards link in the header
  4. Enter the details of the purchase, such as the amount, who the gift card is for, who it's from, etc  gift_cards.png
  5. Select the “Continue Checkout” button
  6. On the checkout page, enter your card information and if there is a promotion for gift cards, the promo code can be added in the "Apply Gift Card / Promo Code" field. The promotion will discount the purchase based on the promotion benefits. gift_cards.png
  7. Complete Purchase            confirmation.png

Congratulations! You have successfully purchased a gift card.
