Sending Reports via Email

Utilizing the option to send reports via email can be incredibly beneficial in situations where generating the data takes longer or when you prefer to have the data in a spreadsheet format for easy viewing. This article will provide step-by-step instructions on how to send reports to your email.

Things to know:

  • Emails can be sent via email once setting is enabled.  This is controlled by a hidden setting that only the MyTime team can enable. To enable the hidden setting, please contact our Support Team at support@mytime.com
  • The send-via-email option will be presented on all reports, however, the following reports will give you the option to choose between getting a detailed or summarized version of the report:
    • Daily Revenue
    • Daily Payments
    • Product Sales Detail
    • Product Sales Analysis
    • Services Sales Detail
    • Staff Productivity
    • Location Productivity
    • Clients Revenue
    • Daily Compensation
    • Bookings by Date
    • Bookings by Staff Member
    • Appointment History       

Once the hidden setting is enabled:

1. Navigate to Dashboard > Reports mceclip0.png

2. Select any of the following reports (Daily Revenue, Daily Payments, Product Sales Detail, Product Sales Analysis, Services Sales Detail, Staff Productivity, Location Productivity, Clients Revenue, Daily Compensation, Bookings by Date, Bookings by Staff Member, Appointment History)

3. Select the desired filters

4. Click the email icon beside the "Update" button to send the report to your email 5. The "Send via email" modal will appear to choose the format in which the report should be emailed to you                                                                                                

6. For reports that provide a summary or detailed version of the data, there will be an additional field to select whether you want the report to display the summary or provide full detailed data

7.Enter your email address (You will receive an error message if the email address entered is not valid)     

8. Click Send

9. The "Report Sent" confirmation message will be displayed

10. Click "Close" 

The report will be included as an attachment in the email you receive
