Scheduling Appointments with Resources

In this article, we will look at the following:

Scheduling an Appointment that Requires a Resource

When you create an appointment and select a service that requires resources, new fields will appear with the resources auto-selected.

If multiple resources were assigned to a service on your services menu and the service requires one of the assigned resources, when you click the dropdown arrow or the + button, you will be given the option to select a different resource if you so desire.

Once you’ve adjusted your resources, click save

When a Resource is at Capacity

When booking a service with a resource in-store and the resource is at capacity, a warning notice will appear informing you that there is a conflict at this time for the resource being scheduled. This notice only serves as a caution and does not prevent you from saving the appointment. mceclip1.png

After saving the appointment, it will look the same as regular appointments on the scheduler mceclip0.png

Scheduling Split Time Appointments with Resources

When you create an appointment for a split-time service, your resources will be automatically assigned.

When you click Edit, the window below will appear. Next to each service time and processing time, the assigned resource is shown.

You can also add a resource to a time block! For example, if you need to block 2 hours in your schedule and you’d like to use a resource (such as a room) during that time, you may add a resource by selecting from the dropdown menu (see below).

We hope this helped! If you have any additional questions feel free to email us at support@mytime.com.
