Purchase and Apply Package / Membership Benefits on the Same Ticket

MyTime allows businesses to sell packages and memberships that give customers certain benefits that can apply to services, classes, or products. When a client books a service/class or purchase a product, you can easily sell them a package or membership and apply the benefits on the same ticket. In this article, we will look at some examples of how this can be done.

Before we begin, there are some important things to note:

  • The “In Package” or “In Membership” label will be displayed on each applicable item if a relevant package or membership is purchased on the same ticket. All other items that are purchased on the ticket will have their regular pricing.
  • Membership discounts will automatically apply to each applicable item.
  • Membership dollar credits will automatically apply on the payment screen.
  • If the membership or package or their usage is removed from the ticket, all items will return to their regular pricing.
  • If the membership start date is in the future, credits will not be applied.

Let's now look at how it all works for appointments:

Packages

Client - Jenna Green

Package Name - Facial Package

Package Quantity - 5 Facial services

  1. Go to schedule and book an appointment for the client (ensure that the service can be covered by a package). You can also add the appointment directly from POS. In this example, we booked an appointment for a Mud Facial service.  7787334-e458084cc50a67edac8b0aef4434f4cd.png
  2. Checkout appointment

  3. Add the Facial package to the ticket

  4. The “In Package” label will be applied to the applicable service. In the screenshot below, the label is applied to the Mud Facial service.   7787354-f404616e1229b82a1f5900479e72ac34.png

  5. Proceed to take payment for the package and close the ticket. 7787398-baab083a3e1baa3fd5fe2132988b1c9e.png

The package balance will be adjusted to reflect the usage. The client used 1 Facial credit out of 5, so the balance remaining is 4. This can be seen on the client profile and Package Balance report.
